Mostly Mozart Festival (2025)

Who: Piano students in the level of any Mozart piano repertoire from early Minuet to Sonata, Variation or Fantasie, who would like to learn about the composer, his works and his contemporaries.

When : Saturday, November 8, 2025, 4:30PM

Where: PYCO School of Music Recital Hall

Format: It will be a lecture recital format consist of the speaker (Dr. Sarana Chou) and the performers (the student pianists). Dr. Chou will talk about the music and the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, his life, and his works. The emphasis will placed on the style of classical sonatas and sonatinas. Each student pianist will perform one piece of their choice of Mozart's works or classical sonatas/sonatinas. Participants will learn the history, culture, musical terminology and music analysis of the selected pieces from student's repertoire.
