Bach Festival (2024)

Who: Piano students in the level of First Lessons in Bach, French Suite, English Suite, Invention, and Well-Tempered Clavier.

When : Saturday, October 19, 2024, 4:30PM

Where: PYCO School of Music Recital Hall

Format: It will be a lecture recital format consist of the speaker (Dr. Sarana Chou) and the performers (the student pianists). Dr. Chou, will talk about music and arts in Baroque period and the works of J.S. Bach. Each student pianist will perform one piece of their choice from First Lessons in Bach, French Suite, English Suite, Invention, or Well-Tempered Clavier. Participants will learn the history, culture, musical terminology and music analysis of the selected pieces from student's repertoire
